I have had my braces on for about 5 months now and the results are amazing! I thought it would be like watching grass grow but it is much faster than I expected. There are a few friends that I see once a week and they are always complementing my teeth and how much they have moved, in just a week. They look so good already everyone thinks I am almost finished with the process. Before I had braces I was not able to open my mouth completely without popping my jaw bone down and to the right. Three weeks after my braces I did not have that problem anymore. That has been the biggest thing I have noticed since braces. I do not have pain when I open my mouth and it is easier to eat.
Now I am more of the conservative type and I had just the white braces with grey bands put on; nothing to flashy but the shine of them attract people to my smile. I have had teachers at school come up to me and say smile please! Teachers I do not even know. My part time job as a waitress at TGI Fridays has given me the most insight on how dramatically my teeth have moved. I constantly receive compliments about my smile from guests and my boss says it is great as well. He always says Elise you are my top waitress and your smile just makes my day. Now here comes the girl talk. Since I have had braces I have boys asking me for my number or my name all the time! I thought braces were like a boy repellent; apparently not!
Since I have had braces I feel like my smile has more power than it did. When I look at old pictures I wish I had had them put on sooner. My orthodontist, Dr. Wise and his staff have been so great! His office is so nice to go to. It is like walking into a cozy Texas home with friendly people and you just do not want to leave. He has everything from hot chocolate and tea to video games and toys for the kids. Even the ceilings are done nicely so you have something to look at while you are at your appointment. I really want to thank him for taking me in and for having such a great staff. I have brought some friends with me to my appointments and they always say that they wish they had gone to him instead of their orthodontist because of the great service and beautiful atmosphere.
I also want to thank smiles changes lives for giving me the opportunity to have a great smile. Without this program I would not have braces at all. I guess smiles really do change lives and no matter where you go a smile has an international language of happiness. I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity and when the process is finished with I am going to wear that retainer faithfully forever! Or for as long as required. I do not want to go back to my old teeth. Thank you so much for everything you guys do and my younger sister is next in line for braces. We are going to be a smiles changes lives family!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Jensen and Dr. Wise to anyone! If others are considering treatment for their children, I would say go for it! I love the straighter teeth and better smile for my kids. The braces provided growth experience for self-images in need of strengthening. Overall, it was a great experience for them.

I would absolutely recommend this practice. My son not only has straightened teeth, but also better speech and a higher self-confidence! Follow the doctors advice and requirements if treatment is recommended, do it! They are professional, thorough and pleasant. With the benefits of speech and confidence, the treatment was totally worth it! The office is always a pleasure to visit!

For others who are considering treatment, I would say to remember the importance of understanding and following all of the instructions provided by the doctors and staff. Drs. Jensen and Wise are both great! They are very patient-oriented, pleasant, professional and fun! We were especially impressed with Dr. Jensen's ability to shape my son's teeth after removal of the braces and also the adjustments he made to my son's cap on one of his front teeth. It looks much more natural now!

Both of my daughters have had braces done by Dr. Wise. For people looking for an orthodontist, I would say to seek out an orthodontist you know you can trust. That is why we came to this practice. Both my girls have beautiful smiles now, and I've actually already referred several people to this office. The staff is outstanding and the kid friendly approach makes the kids feel at ease. I have been working with Dr. Wise and Dr. Jensen for years now. Their knowledge, expertise, friendly staff, and ability to provide excellent care and service to our patients is what makes them the perfect choice for our office when our patients need orthodontic treatment.
