STAFF BIOS BARBARA HOLLOWAY I have in the orthodontic field since 1992 when I was hired to be Dr. Wise’s office manager/financial coordinator. Prior to that I had worked in the medical field for many years. Since working with Dr. Wise for these many years; I have found it very rewarding and most of the staff have been here for many years also and we are more of a family and very supportive of each other. I feel the experience of each staff member really shines in our work for Wise Orthodontics and Stonebridge Orthodontics and our patients. I was born in Dallas, but most of my life I have resided in Merit, Tx. I have 2 grown children, Jason and his wife Christina who recently came home from the Marines and now owns their own business in Crockett, Tx. He has 2 daughters, Chyanne and Desarae. Shannon, who lives in metroplex has a son Evan and daughter Taylor. I have a teacup chihuahua named Baby. My off time from Wise Orthodontics and Stonebridge Orthodontics is spent working at our Garden Center in Palestine, TX. I love having sleepovers, movie nights, craft time and fourwheeling with my grandbabies as often as possible. I love to garden and my passion is to traveling around the U.S. and the world. I also enjoy supporting cancer research and the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Working at Wise Orthodontics and Stonebridge Orthodontics has provided some great places to travel for continuing education like Hawaii and New Orleans to name a few but, my personal best trip of a life time so far came when I went to Bora Bora and Tahiti. It was truly paradise on earth. We had breathtaking views and the clearest blue water I have ever seen. We also swam with sharks, sting rays(I am glad I didn’t know how quick they could kill you then, sorry Steve Irwin) and very large electric eels. We even found NEMO. It was great. I hope to have many more exciting times ahead. For the future I hope to continuing working at Wise Orthodontics and Stonebridge Orthodontics until I feel ready to retire because Dr. Wise is a great boss, it is a super place to work and it has wonderful people to work with. |
