STAFF BIOS LISA DUREN I started in the orthodontic field in April 1990. In February 1994, I began working with Dr. Wise and for 7 years I was one of his orthodontic assistants. After taking a year off for maternity leave, I came back and began working in the front office. I truly enjoy working with Dr. Wise and all my co-workers. I feel as though they are my second family. As a native Texan, I grew up in the small town of Van Alstyne. My family includes my daughter Kayla, son Tyler, both of my parents, who have been married 45+ years and two older brothers. I also have 2 nephews and 1 niece. Plus, depending on what animal my son is for the day I could have a pet hawk, moose, snake, bear or even a wolverine. I enjoy watching my daughter play softball. I also love photography, camping, and traveling which have included two of my favorite places Cozumel, Mexico and Hawaii. Both places were breathtakingly beautiful. I also love supporting World Vision, Scottish Rite Hospital and Grayson County Women’s Crisis Center. For the future I plan to keep working for Dr. Wise until one of us retires, wins the lotto, kicks the bucket or gets sick of each other. Honestly, I plan on being here for years to come. |
